| Summary: | BAIINFO-CHINA, Domestic GPC market sustained chaotic scenarios. Closing to the month end, downstream carbon plants suffered heavy financial pressure. Meanwhile, many refineries were eager to liquidate inventories before the May Day holidays. Hence, GPC prices were hard to rebound. To be specific, Sinopec refineries raised prices by RMB 10-60/T individually. Some CNPC/PetroChina refineries lessened prices by RMB 50-100/T. CNOOC refineries did not adjust prices this week. |
